Jamie DiNicola is an activist, writer, and award-winning filmmaker, based in Brooklyn, NY. Jamie has made storytelling the cornerstone of his queer & trans activist work. His short film, Spot, was winner of Best Short Screenplay at Rahway International Film Festival, and his most recent short, Will I Say So, had its premiere at Toronto's Inside Out Film Festival. Jamie is currently serving as producer on the forthcoming feature documentary, Trans in Trumpland.

He has been named one of the "Top 10 Trans Filmmakers You Should Know" by Huffington Post & Buzzfeed. He is co-founder of the production company, TransWave Films.
