In a literature and film class I fell in love with storytelling watching films in the Gish Film Theater at BGSU. Working in teleproduction on national racing shows in Charlotte, NC and writing film scripts, my first screenplay garnered a Silver Award and received positive feedback from Marc Haimes at Dreamworks who called the writing streamlined and effective. I worked for About.com as the Indie/World Film Guide and later co-produced a racing documentary serving as lead story developer.
