Ivan (aka Jude) is a Brazilian writer, podcaster, and multidisciplinary creative who immigrated to Italy as a child. After living in the UK for several years, he returned to Italy in 2017, where he continues to explore themes of identity, memory, and migration through his work.
He is the author of four books: the novel The Colourblind Grief, two poetry collections, Sorry I’m Mad and WordsWars and he latest “Luz Tropical - Voltar sem voltar” a photography and poetry book about his roots, Amazon best seller in South America Travel books. His writing is deeply personal, often touching on mental health, grief, and healing from a neurodivergent perspective. His novel was published by EIF and earned a Runner-Up recognition at the San Francisco Book Festival.
Ivan is also the creator of multiple podcasts, including Healing with Jude, The Krazy Beautiful Show, and the Portuguese-language hit Bora pra Europa com Ivanzinho, which ranks among the top 10 in Brazil and italy in the “life stories” category. Through these platforms, he offers honest conversations about life in Europe, identity, and the immigrant experience.
In 2025, Ivan released his first short film Luz Tropical, a poetic documentary and video art piece exploring his personal story of migration and return.
