The Independent Talents International Film Festival is not a traditional film festival. The Independent Talents International Film Festival is about to help independent filmmakers gain the credibility and publicity they truly deserved.

The Independent Talents International Film Festival is an annual event which invites films to its competition by selecting them from its monthly and quarterly competitions. Each film must submit to one of the monthly festivals through FilmFreeway. Winners of monthly events will be invited to quarterly events (NO ENTRY FEE) and winners of 4 quarterly events will be invited to the annual festival (NO ENTRY FEE). The Independent Talents International Film Festival is a brilliant opportunity for all filmmakers. Due to our special programming system, each month there is a great chance to get our festival laurels for at least 150 projects (Includes all categories), and also the chance of winning an award for at least 27 projects.

No film is able to win more than 1 award. There are at least 27 awards each month. The chance of winning an award is high since there are many special jury awards.

Each month our jury watch and rate the submitted films. We announce the official selection of the month at the notification date. Next, with the second phase of reviews, the winners of the months are announced for each category.

The Independent Talents International Film Festival will include the following sections:

1- World Cinema (Films over 60 minutes)
In 4 categories: Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental
In each category, there will be: 5 films officially selected, 3 nominees and 1 winner.
The Juries have the right to give 2 Special Jury Awards to a debut film and a student project.
(In total: 20 films officially selected, 12 nominees and up to 6 winners)

2- In Between (Films between 45 and 60 minutes)
In 4 categories: Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental
In each category, there will be: 5 films officially selected, 3 nominees and 1 winner.
The Juries have the right to give 2 Special Jury Awards to a debut film and a student project.
(In total: 20 films officially selected, 12 nominees and up to 6 winners)

3- Short Competition (Films between 5 and 45 minutes)
In 4 categories: Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental
In each category, there will be: 5 films officially selected, 3 nominees and 1 winner.
The Juries have the right to give 3 Special Jury Awards to a debut film, a student project, and a Non-Verbal film.
(In total: 20 films officially selected, 12 nominees and up to 7 winners)

4- The idea (Films under 5 minutes)
In 4 categories: Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental
In each category, there will be: 5 films officially selected, 3 nominees and 1 winner.
The Juries have the right to give 3 Special Jury Awards to a debut film, a student project, and a Non-Verbal film.
(In total: 20 films officially selected, 12 nominees and up to 7 winners)

5- Script (For films which haven’t produced yet)
In 2 categories: Feature, Short
In each category, there will be: 15 films officially selected, 5 nominees and 3 winners.
(In total: 30 scripts officially selected, 10 nominees and 6 winners)

6- Music Video (Time is not important)
Through all submitted projects, there will be: 10 music videos officially selected, 5 nominees and 1 winner.

7- Video Art (Time is not important)
Through all submitted projects, there will be: 10 video arts officially selected, 5 nominees and 1 winner.

8- Trailer (under 4 minutes)
Through all submitted projects, there will be: 20 trailers officially selected, 7 nominees and 3 winners.

9- Special Jury Awards (For all submitted projects in all categories)
The juries have the right to give the special jury award for The Best Directing, Best Scenario, Best Cinematography, Best Composer, Best Editing, Best Role-playing, Best Sound, Best VFX or any other titles.
There is no need to submit in this category. All the submitted projects will automatically compete for these awards.

Terms & Regulation
1- The festival accepts all types of film from all over the world, and of any length. (But submitters must read categories description carefully)
2- There is no requirement for the year of production.
3- There is no premiere requirement. You can also submit the same project in the next month competition in case you haven't been officially selected in last editions.
4- Films can be submitted only through FilmFreeway.com.
5- The submitted film must be either in English or have English subtitles.
6- No work or artist will be either discriminated or favored by their country of origin, language, age, race, education, ideology, or by their economic resources. Every content, every form, every technique will be considered with no censorship of any kind.
7- How to participate in the annual event (read carefully):
a. You must know that you don’t submit to the annual festival. Our programming team will invite all winners of monthly events and quarterly events for the annual festival (The main Independent Talents IFF). If you want to have the chance to participate in our annual festival you must submit your film to one of our monthly events. In fact, the only way to be eligible for the annual festival is to win an award in one of the monthly events.
b. First, all submitted films in a monthly event will be presented to jury to be considered for possible award recognition.
c. Second, the ITIFF jury will select and award films in the above categories: The Jury can also determine Special Mentions and Special Jury Prizes.
d. As the third stage, the Awards will be announced on the monthly Event Date via the Internet. It is requested, though not obligatory, that the Award, the Festival, and the Programme should be mentioned in all promotion material of the films awarded.
e. After that is the time for the quarterly event, winners of each category will be nominated in the same category and there will be 1 winner in each category.
f. Finally, winners of the quarterly event will be invited to the annual event and all of them will compete for the annual award in the same category.
8- ITIFF doesn’t download data or accept Dropbox submission. Please only send links to your media hosted on 3rd party servers such as Vimeo or YouTube.
9- In order to be fully and properly considered, films must be available to view through FilmFreeways’s online screening interface.
10- We don’t provide fee waivers. Please do not contact us for that.
11- The selection committees and juries decision are final.
12- Please, Monitor FilmFreeway for the status of your submission.
13- If you haven’t received notifications shortly after the final submission deadline passes, contact us.
14- Please be careful to submit your work in the correct category. The mistaken submissions will be disqualified.
15- In order to participate, the entrants must bear a nonrefundable entry fee.
16- Filmmakers and screenwriters retain 100% all of the rights to their projects and materials that they submit to the Independent Talents International Film Festival.
17- The Festival Management reserves the right to make changes in the profile of the festival if it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond his/her control.
18- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us, our officers, affiliates, employees, and partners from any and all claims and liability arising out of entering or transmitting your film or screenplay to the Independent Talents International Film Festival.
19- By submitting a film or script or any media through FilmFree2ay, the Filmmaker agrees to grant the Festival the right to use the title, synopsis, and trailer of the Film for advertisement purposes, including using of those materials on the Festival's website.
