Ilker Demir is a filmmaker and graduate of BA (Hons) Film & Television Production at Anglia Ruskin University. He is currently undertaking an MA in Film & Television Production at Anglia Ruskin University, further developing his expertise in directing, visual storytelling, and contemporary filmmaking.
Working in the media industry since 2011, Ilker has produced corporate films, promotional videos, documentaries, and short narrative films. His professional experience also includes television editing and music composition, contributing to a wide range of creative productions.
In 2024, he wrote and directed The Last Message, an award-winning short film that was officially selected for international film festivals and received recognition in multiple award categories.
His work explores themes of memory, identity, human relationships, and emotional realism, with a strong focus on character-driven storytelling. Through his films, he aims to create authentic and emotionally engaging stories that resonate with audiences and encourage reflection.
