The Hirpinia Film Festival is an international festival for short films, organized by Rotaract Club Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi Hirpinia Goleto. It's both an ONLINE and LIVE festival. The jury will assign more than 10 awards. The live event will take place in Irpina (from latin 'Hirpinia'), an area in Campania, in the historic villa of Casa Loreto in Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi, Italy.

The finalists will be screened during a virtual event on a private online platform and then the winners of National Competition, International Competition, Best Directing, Best Writing, Best Actor and Best Actress will be screened during the live event in Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi.

We accept narrative short films of any genre, theme and country. No documentaries or experimental films.
Short Films must be 30 minutes maximum.
Any language is accepted, but if dialogues are not in English or Italian, subtitles in English or Italian are required.
By submitting your film, you are allowing the festival to screen the film, promote the film with the elements at our disposal, insert a few seconds from the film in the trailer of the event, publish infos on our website and use the elements listed on your submission in any manner useful to run the festival. You must be legit regarding all the necessary rights including music rights appearing in your film.

For the screening of the film at the festival it is required:
-a Full HD .mp4 or .mov file
-at least two 1920 x 1080 JPG or PNG still images from the film
-a brief biography of the filmmaker
The selection process is divided in 3 steps: Official Selection, Finalists and Winners. The official selected films can apply the festival logo and laurels on their films but they will not screened in the online and live event. Only finalist films will be screened and will be in competition for the awards.
