As a judge, you've been set up as a sub-user on FilmFreeway by the festival you're judging for. This means the festival has created an account for you — or added you to an existing one — using a specific email address. Follow the steps below to make sure you're signed in correctly and can access your assigned submissions.
Step 1 – Sign in with the correct email
Sign in to FilmFreeway using the email address the festival used to create your judge account. If you're unsure which address that is, check with the festival organizer directly — they'll be able to confirm it for you. You can also verify which account you're currently signed into on your account details page.
Step 2 – Switch accounts if needed
Many judges have more than one FilmFreeway account, such as a personal Filmmaker account alongside a festival judge account. If that applies to you, hover over the downward arrow in the account settings menu (top right) to see all accounts linked to your login and toggle between them.
Step 3 – Access your submissions
Once you're signed into the correct account, head to the Submissions page to view all submissions assigned to you.
Managing Multiple FilmFreeway Accounts
Some submitters accidentally create more than one account using different email addresses. Others may intentionally manage multiple accounts — for example, serving as a sub-user for a festival or maintaining multiple filmmaker accounts. Here's how to handle each situation:
Check your account settings
Make sure you're logging in with the email address associated with the account that contains your submissions. You can verify this on your account details page.
Unused or duplicate accounts
If you have a blank or duplicate account created in error, we can help delete it — or you can merge your accounts so everything is consolidated under your primary account.
Managing multiple accounts intentionally
If you manage multiple accounts under one primary login, try refreshing your page, then hover over the downward arrow in the main menu next to your avatar. Use this menu to toggle between your accounts.
