If you have uploaded your video directly to FilmFreeway you can easily add subtitles or captions to your video in .SRT format.
Go to 'My Projects' > 'Project File', find the sub-section titled 'Subtitles and Captions', use the dropdown menu to select your language, then click 'Choose File' to upload your subtitle / caption file.
Troubleshooting:
Make sure the subtitles start from 00:00:00 and not at the 1-hour mark.
Subtitle issues often arise from incorrect format or file encoding. The file should use Unix line endings and be in ASCII format. We've observed that some programs may produce slightly different formats, which can cause compatibility issues.
Additionally, ensure that there are spaces between the arrow symbols ( --> ) and the timecodes, and that the timecodes are not connected from start to finish.
