Yes. FilmFreeway seamlessly integrates with both Vimeo and YouTube. To submit with Vimeo or YouTube, go to 'My Projects' > 'Project File', then enter your video URL and password. You can update this link at any time.
Only festivals you submit to will have access to your video's password.
Important: If you are linking your video via Vimeo, make sure to update your Vimeo settings to allow embedding. This will ensure that your video player appears directly within the FilmFreeway interface while still remaining password protected.
To enable embedding:
- Go to your video in your Vimeo account.
- Click Share > Embed > Embed Privacy.
- Under "Where Can This Video be Embedded?", select "Anywhere".
You’ll know the settings have been updated correctly when the “Sorry” notice disappears from the video player, and the play button is clickable.
