Gwen Jansen (50) is an independent award winning documentarymaker and producer from Utrecht. All her films feature characters who, with enormous amounts of passion, daring, and drive, strive for a goal that seems impossible to many. They always address topics with a clear link to her own life. And the Sustainable Development Goals play an important rol in her vision on life and in her productions to trie to make the world a better place for both humans, animals and nature leaving no one behind. Jansen is also in daily life a volunteer @ the foundation for Global Goals in the Netherlands. Jansen has made several award winning cinema and tv documentaries and series, including "The Green Make Over" on Dutch national TV , “Kunst... Begin drrr niet an” about the life of Herman Brood as a visual artist, as well as “De Autovakmannen”, “Nederland Whiskyland”, and “Hato’s Wijn”.
