The festival takes place in the atmospheric city of Thessaloniki, Greece in Niobe Olimpia Cinema. The event lasts for a week, starting on June 1, 2025 and ending on June 7, 2025.
"Greek CineGenius" aims to become an important event in the world of cinema, creating a platform to celebrate and support Greek cinema, as well as promoting interaction between national and international creative communities.

The festival jury is composed of renowned Greek and international filmmakers, directors, actors and critics. They have a wealth of experience and contribution to world cinema.The mission of the festival includes the following aspects:
Promotion of International and Greek Cinema: The festival aims to elevate Greek cinema to a global level by showcasing its richness, diversity and talent in line of international works. The organizers aim to highlight the work of directors, actors, screenwriters and cinematographers.
The festival actively seeks and supports new talent in the International and Greek film industry. Categories such as Best Debut Film aim to recognize and encourage young filmmakers.
The festival organizers pay attention to the educational aspects of the festival with workshops, seminars and other educational activities that contribute to the professional development of the participants and the audience.
During the week of the festival, a rich program is presented, including not only film screenings, but also master classes, lectures, discussions and meetings with the authors. Screenings of classic Greek films are also organized to showcase the country's rich cinematic heritage.

7. Star of Helios - for best acting (male and female).

- Heracles Honorary Award - for outstanding contribution to Greek cinema.
The festival concludes with a grand awards ceremony that brings together the stars of the film industry, the press and the audience.

1. All submitted films and projects must be free of any legal disputes and the director must have all rights to the music and exhibitions.
2. All films must be in English or with English subtitles. Non-English language films without subtitles will not be considered.
3. There are no restrictions on the year of release.
4. There are no premiere requirements.
5. Entry fees are non-refundable.
6. You own all rights to the movie.
7. You cannot withdraw your entry after the official announcement of each round's selection.
8. If you are not a winner, you may submit your movie again.
