Grant's 2nd feature, the punk rock documentary – Big Gold Dream won the prestigious Edinburgh International Film Festival Audience Award. It later screened on BBC 2, was one of Sight and Sounds Best Films of 2015 and was long list nominated for the BIFA Best Documentary.
Teenage Superstars was screened on Sky Arts in 2021 and was selected as 'Pick of the Day' by The Guardian, The Times, Daily Mail, The Sun and The Telegraph.
Far From the Apple Tree, starring Sorcha Groundsell was filmed on a combination of 35mm, 16mm, PXL2000, Betamax and Home Processed film.
Grant's career started by working his way through the ranks in the film industry and progressing through the camera department. He's worked for and learned from notable cinematographers such as Christopher Doyle, Anthony Dod Mantle, Peter Deming, Robert Richardson and actors such as George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Scarlett Johansson, Adrien Brody and Daniel Craig.
Always learning but never copying, Grant has used his industry experiences to always push forward, experiment and create fresh approaches to filmmaking; all wrapped up in a punk rock sensibility.
