Born in 1945, Frank Cassenti is a film director, documentary filmmaker for cinema and television, stage director and musician. He directed several feature films for cinema including « The Red Poster » (Jean Vigo Prize), « The Roland’s song » , « The Testament of a Murdered Jewish Poet », as well as numerous musical documentaries including « Letter to Michel Petrucciani », « Archie Shepp: I am jazz… that's my life”, « Billie Holiday Forever », « The night of possession », « Jacques Schwarz-Bart, The voice of the ancestors » (awarded in international festivals : Directors' Fortnight in Cannes, Locarno, New York, Sacem Prize, Fipa Prize…). For the theater, he adapted « Miss Else » by Arthur Shnitzler and « Novecento » after Alessandro Baricco.
