Films of the Future is an international festival taking place in Los Angeles and New York City, uniting global visions and diverse cultural contexts around a common mission: to promote cinema that imagines and builds a better future. The festival focuses on avant-garde films and new media — including virtual reality, animation, expanded cinema, interactive visuals, immersive experiences, and video mapping installations — providing a platform for creators who dare to break boundaries and explore innovative narratives.
Together, this festival brings the best of both worlds: culturally rooted short films from the Hispanic/Latino community alongside cutting-edge new media work from international creators.
