Based on market research and early industry outreach, we anticipate strong interest and a high volume of submissions for our inaugural event.
To help identify filmmakers whose work aligns with the vision of the event, we are launching the One Scene Challenge.
Submit a single scene from an existing project or create an entirely new scene specifically for this challenge. We are looking for the storytelling, creativity, technical execution, and artistic voice that demonstrate the qualities we seek in Fête submissions.
A panel of reviewers will evaluate all eligible entries and select **50 filmmakers for Priority Review Status** when submissions officially open for completed movies.
The names of the selected filmmakers will be announced on our website and social media channels by October.
**Priority Review Status does not guarantee acceptance, nomination, or selection for the main Fête. All projects will be evaluated according to the same programming standards and selection criteria.**
We're not looking for a complete film.
We're looking for the elements that make us want to see more.
**One scene. Fifty filmmakers selected. Priority Review for the main Fête.**
Fifty filmmakers will be selected to receive **Priority Review Status**.
Recipients of this award will have their completed projects advanced to the front of the main Fête review queue, placing them among the first submissions evaluated by our programming team.
Priority Review Status is intended to recognize filmmakers who demonstrate exceptional promise, creativity, and alignment with the vision of the Fête through their One Scene Challenge entry.
While Priority Review provides early consideration, it does not guarantee acceptance, nomination, or selection for the main event. All submissions remain subject to the Fête's standard evaluation and programming criteria.
