Music has charts that track the pulse of a moment. What rises, what stays, what fades. Cinema rarely operates in that space. Its impact settles in later, after distance and interpretation take over.

Filmboard brings that immediacy into film culture.

Inspired by the logic of Billboard and translated into a cinematic context, Filmboard presents films within a living framework shaped by audience response, industry dialogue, and cultural resonance. Works meet, confront each other, and find their position through attention, discussion, and presence in the room.

The festival gathers filmmakers, producers, artists, and viewers around one focus: cinema as it exists now. Raw, contemporary, unfolding in real time. Reception becomes part of the process. Conversation continues beyond the screening. Encounters turn into collaboration.

The program welcomes distinctive voices, daring debuts, and refined authorial work. Screenings, panels, and informal meetings create an environment where films extend beyond their runtime and enter a broader cultural conversation.

Filmboard also turns toward the technology reshaping the medium itself. Artificial intelligence is entering filmmaking, and the festival meets it head-on — traditional craft and AI-driven work standing side by side. New tools, new methods, new authorship. Not cinema replaced, but cinema expanded.

Filmboard is a cinematic board of the present moment.
