One exceptional film will be presented with the Summer Showcase Jury's Choice Award. All films accepted into the showcase, including pre-launch entries, will be eligible for the award.

🎬 Film Florida TV Summer Showcase
Rules & Terms (FilmFreeway Version)

Eligibility
Entrants must be 18+ (under 18 requires parent/guardian consent). Films/projects must be created in Florida or demonstrate a substantive connection to Florida. A project will be considered to have a Florida connection if it meets one or more of the following criteria:

• Produced, filmed, or developed in Florida
• Created by a Florida-based filmmaker, production company, or creative team member
• Set in Florida or substantially depicts Florida locations, culture, history, communities, or stories
• Features significant Florida talent, crew, subjects, or organizations
• Otherwise contributes to or reflects Florida’s creative, cultural, or economic landscape

Submission Requirements
• Format: MP4 (H.264)
• Audio: AAC
• Frame Rate: 24, 25, 30, or 60 fps (native)
• Resolution: 1920×1080 minimum (4K preferred)
• Aspect Ratio: 16:9
• Submission Link: Vimeo (Unlisted, please do not have a password attached)
• Video must be set to 'downloadable' within Vimeo
• Dialogue must be in English or have burnt-in English subtitles

Recommended Thumbnail (otherwise one will be picked for you)
1280 × 720 pixels (16:9 aspect ratio)

Required Information
Submissions must include:

• Title
• Logline or synopsis
• Runtime
• Original release date
• Key cast & crew
• Florida locations featured
• Filmmaker contact information

Once you finish your submission, please email your confirmation to ott@filmflorida.org and provide a signed release form.

Rights & Clearances
Entrants must own or secure all rights to:
• Music
• Footage
• Images
• Talent releases
• Films must be original or properly licensed

If accepted, filmmakers will be required to complete and sign a release form provided by Film Florida TV, confirming the information stated above.

Content Guidelines
Submissions must NOT contain:

• Pornographic or explicit material
• Defamatory or unlawful content
• Copyright or trademark violations

Film Florida reserves the right to disqualify any inappropriate content.

Exhibition & Licensing
Selected films may be featured on Film Florida TV
Not all submissions will be selected

By submitting, Entrants grant Film Florida a:

Non-exclusive, royalty-free license (2 years) to:
• Stream and exhibit the film
• Use clips, stills, and titles for promotion

Entrants retain full ownership of their work.

Jury Award will be selected by a Film Florida TV appointed Jury.
All decisions are final

Fees
Submission fees are non-refundable

All Current Film Florida members qualify for a waiver code. If you have not yet received your waiver code, please contact ott@filmflorida.org to obtain it.

Individuals who are not currently Film Florida members will receive a one-time discounted Production Coordinator-level membership as part of their submission fee. (https://filmflorida.org/member-benefits/)

This discount is available only to individual filmmakers. It does not apply to submissions made on behalf of film festivals, production companies, or other organizations that are not current Film Florida members.

Disqualification
Entries may be disqualified if they:

• Violate rules or requirements
• Are incomplete or submitted late
• Contains false information

Liability

Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Film Florida from any claims related to submitted content.
