The Indie Spotlight Network Film Festival is an international online event of student films, short films, documentaries and feature films. This provides a home to young and vibrant film enthusiasts who are committed to the independent cinema and devoted to spreading modern visual art forms.

We have 4 seasons per year. This provides filmmakers with the best opportunity to get their film in front of the fans!

We have designed this film festival to specifically help independent filmmakers to raise their visibility through the web. We do so by providing secure online screenings to registered paid members (RPM) of our online community (they pay for the online screenings to watch all of the films) allowing us to promote your film online and through social media. The screenings are not available to the general public. We ONLY show them through a secured area of our website.

We have over 80,000 unique views per year. That are potential viewers from all over the world. But, we can always use your help. Get your family, friends and fans to join us at www.indiespotlightnetwork.com and watch your film. Each viewer casts their vote for each category. The film with the most votes from the RPMs, wins! We keep it that simply.

All submissions that become “Official Selections” will have the option of receiving distribution services from Indie Spotlight Network. We have hooked up with several independent film distributors all over the world to offer you the best opportunity at worldwide distribution.

Best Comedy- Viewers choose this to be the best Comedy film in the fest
Best Documentary- Viewers choose this to be the best Documentary film in the fest
Best Experimental- Viewers choose this to be the best experimental film in the fest
Best Horror/Thriller- Viewers choose this to be the best horror/thriller film in the fest
Top 5 Award- Viewers believes this is not the top film, but definitely in the top 5
Best Student Film- Viewers choose this to be the best student film in the festival

Online Festival Dates, November 19, 2018 through December 19, 2018
Submissions Accepted October 8, 2018 through November 12, 2018. (Entry fee per entry, non refundable)

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Each entry understands that submitting a film does not ensure that the film will be chosen as an "Official Selection". Only "Official Selection" films will be screened by the voting audience.
Each "Official Selection" understands that the voting audience will vote by being a Registered Paying Member. To becoming a Registered Paying Member the individual goes to www.indiespotlightnetwork.com. Membership is Season Pass $6.95 or VIP Pass $14.95. Membership allows you to view the films for 30 days and vote. Payments are made through PayPal. Registered Paying Members will have the opportunity to view all of the Official Selections starting on November 19, 2018. At the end of the voting cycle the total views will be added up to determine the winner. Winners will be the Official Entry with the most votes for their film.
Each entry must be submitted through www.filmfreeway.com.
Each entry is required to pay a submission fee of $11 ($5 for student film) by the submission deadline.
Each entry is required to have all permissions and rights to their entry to include content, score and all other parts of the film.
Each entry must provide a YouTube or Vimeo (without a password) for the purpose of audience viewing. (Films will only be seen in a secured area of the ISN website. Viewing of the films is NOT available to the general public.)

Each Official Entry is required to include a 3 sentence log line to describe the film, a jpeg of the cover artwork and provide any warnings (such as, adult themes, nudity, language violence, etc...) Failure to do so will disqualify the film from being an Official Entry and the entry fee will NOT be refunded.
Non-English speaking films must be dubbed or subtitled in English.
Please do not send press kits or any other print materials until they are requested by the festival staff.

SELECTION & NOTIFICATION
All entries will be viewed by the selection committee. The Festival will make no cuts or changes. Official Festival selections will be announced on or around November 12, 2018. All entries will be notified by email. Selected films will also be posted on our website. The festival does not pay rental fees for submitted work. At the conclusion of the Indie Spotlight Network Film Festival winners will be notified by email and the Indie Spotlight Network Film Fest website will updated accordingly.

By entering your film for consideration for the Indie Spotlight Network Film Festival, you authorize that your work is cleared for festival exhibition and accept full legal responsibility for the intellectual property therein. Additionally, you agree that your film does not violate any copyright laws. Entry into the festival constitutes permission to exhibit your work at the Indie Spotlight Network Film Festival.
