Elegant International Film Festival is a celebration of the art of independent cinema, showcasing the very best in emerging talent from around the world. Over the course of time, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a dynamic and engaging program of film screenings, Q&A sessions with filmmakers, workshops, and networking events (subjected to the service charges applicable). Currently, screening session is only included if selected!

Awards & Prizes

At ElegantIFF, we offer the following to all our filmmakers:

1. Both online and physical screenings of your film.

2. Every film selected as an Official Selection will receive the Official Laurels of Elegant IFF. Moreover, the winning movies will be showcased in a Live Screening at our Annual Event.

3. The finalists and the winners of the festival will receive certificates, along with laurels highlighting their achievement.

4. We will screen all the selected films on our website, thereby giving you greater visibility and reach.

5. As a finalist or an award-winner, you will get a featured interview which will further help in promoting your work. (interview will be a separate submission, stay tuned for that)

Rules & Terms

1. We only accept electronic submissions via FilmFreeway, and there are a few rules that you should be aware of before submitting:

2. All films must be submitted through FilmFreeway.

3. Foreign-language films must include English subtitles.

4. Students must provide evidence of their student status, such as a copy of their student card, for reduced entry fees.

5. Films or scripts must be completed after January 1st, 2000.

6. By submitting your film, you agree to allow us to use parts of it for promotional purposes, including the trailer, teaser, and poster. A short synopsis and digital still photo are required for scripts and all entries except music videos, for the jury and for our website announcements if you win.

7. Entry fees are non-refundable.

8. There are no restrictions on theme, genre, or author. We welcome films from all demographics.

9. Each film will be watched by at least two different panels of judges. Please note that Vimeo tracker may not always be reliable for tracking views.

10. You may submit as many entries as you like, but each requires its own entry fee.

11. Reviews and interviews will be published on our festival website, which you can use in your press kit.

12. You, as the submitter, are solely responsible for the rights to your film. If any disputes arise, ElegantIFF cannot take responsibility for ownership.

13. Please ensure that there is a working film link (YouTube/Vimeo) during submission.

14. Pornographic content is not allowed, and it is at the discretion of the moderators to discard such content. Refunds for submissions containing pornographic content will not be provided.
