Last year we screened and awarded first, second, and third place cash prizes to three screenwriters. Two of those scripts were among the 20 shorts we produced last year. This year, my team and I are looking for three more screenplays to review, for possible future production. We are looking for scripts that are less than eight (8) pages in length. The scripts should require less than three locations and less than four actors. All submitters will have their scripts screened live by our professional actors during a virtual reading.
Though every qualified submitter, one who submits what we are asking for, will have their scripts presented at our virtual reading, only three will be awarded first, second, and third place.

10) Structure/Plot
11) Tone
12) Concept
Our actors’ live vote will determine the three winners. The mission of this contest is to provide aspiring screenwriters an industry-level presentation of their shorts as well as possible opportunity for production. In addition, winners will receive social media shout-out and website placement displaying their contest placement.
