Now in its 8th year, the Southeast New England Film, Music & Arts Festival has established itself as one of the premier festivals in New England dedicated to giving life to independent cinema, music and art.

This year marks the 3rd year of the SENE Film Festival Screenplay Competition.

Submitted screenplays are eligible for Best Feature Screenplay and Best Short Screenplay awards. Five finalists will be selected in each category. SENE will announce the winning screenplays in November 2015.

Short screenplays must be 30 pages or less.
Feature screenplays must be between 31 and 120 pages
Submitted screenplays must be original
Screenplays must be the sole property of the applicant
Screenplays that are optioned, produced or purchased before the end of the judging period will no longer be eligible
Judges, readers and SENE staff and their immediate family are not eligible.
Screenplays submitted solely under a pen name will be disqualified. You may submit under a pen name if you also include your real name.
