The International Humor Film Festival - FINTCH - will present to the public contemporary worldwide cinematographic production dedicated to humor, allowing the circulation of films that do not find space in the traditional commercial means of distribution and exhibition.

Awards & Prizes

Os filmes selecionados concorrerão em três categorias distintas:
1 - "Melhor Longa-Metragem" - a ser escolhido pelo júri técnico. Participarão desta categoria filmes brasileiros e internacionais;

2 - "Melhor Curta-Metragem Internacional" - a ser escolhido pelo júri técnico. Esta categoria é específica para filmes internacionais;

3 - "Melhor Curta-Metragem Brasileiro" - a ser escolhido pelo júri técnico. Esta categoria é específica para filmes produzidos no Brasil.

Os vencedores receberão Certificados de Premiação.
Não haverá prêmios em dinheiro.

The selected films will compete in three different categories:
1 - "Best Feature Film" - to be chosen by the technical jury. Brazilian and international films will participate in this category;

2 - "Best International Short Film" - to be chosen by the technical jury. This category is specific to international films;

3 - "Best Brazilian Short Film" - to be chosen by the technical jury. This category is specific to films produced in Brazil.

Winners will receive Award Certificates.
There will be no cash prizes.

Rules & Terms

1) Poderão ser inscritos para a etapa seletiva do Festival curtas-metragens com até 15 minutos e longas-metragens com mais de 60 minutos produzidos a partir de 2022 que se enquadrem em quaisquer das variantes do gênero comédia, independente do tema abordado.

2) Cada participante poderá inscrever quantas obras desejar.

3) O idioma oficial do Festival é o português do Brasil, aos realizadores que inscreverem filmes produzidos em quaisquer outros idiomas poderá ser solicitado arquivo de texto (.srt) em inglês ou espanhol, com o "time-code", contendo os textos, narrações ou diálogos.

4) A relação dos filmes selecionados será divulgada até o dia 1 de agosto de 2024 por meio das redes sociais e comunicados via correio eletrônico.

5) Os realizadores inscritos cedem a BENGUELA Produções e Eventos Culturais Ltda o direito – de forma gratuita – de exibir e divulgar imagens dos filmes (fotos e fragmentos com, no máximo, 30 segundos), a qualquer momento e sem limites de vezes sem qualquer remuneração aos participantes.

6) É de responsabilidade do participante a utilização de imagens e músicas de terceiros em seus filmes, além de qualquer conflito proveniente de violação de direitos de autoria.

7) A inscrição da obra indica a aceitação integral deste regulamento por parte de seu responsável.

1) Short films with up to 15 minutes and feature films with more than 60 minutes produced from 2022 that fit into any of the variants of the comedy genre, regardless of the topic addressed, may be entered for the selective stage of the Festival.
2) Each participant will be able to register as many works as they wish.

3) The official language of the Festival is Brazilian Portuguese, when filmmakers submitting films produced in any other languages, a text file (.srt) in English or Spanish may be requested, using the "time-code", containing the texts, narrations or dialogues.

4) The list of short films selected will be released by May 6, 2024 through social networks and communications via email.

5) The registered directors grant BENGUELA Produções e Eventos Culturais Ltda the right - free of charge - to display and disseminate images of the films (photos and fragments with a maximum of 30 seconds), at any time and without limit of times without any remuneration to participants.

6) It is the participant's responsibility to use images and music from third parties in his films, in addition to any conflict arising from copyright infringement.

7) The registration of the work indicates the full acceptance of this regulation by its responsible.
