I have to say, I really enjoyed the whole event, it was well organised, plenty of space and the location had plenty of amenities and good air conditioning.

Everyone was friendly and supportive and it was fun watching my work on the big screen with fellow filmmakers.

A superb festival with great communication and hospitality. Thank you for including Crimson, it was a huge honour for the recognition. We dearly wish we could have been there in person. It really seemed like a great festival to attend. Hopefully in the future.

WIFF was a delightful experience. They champion emerging talent and it is very clear how much passion they have for true film and art.

Liza, Fletch and the rest of the WIFF team were as hospitable and sweet as humanly possible, making us feel very welcomed and part of the community. Our film, 'Finished Sympathy' was presented in a way that made me smile with the sound and image coming through clearer than ever before. It was like watching a completely new film for me.

I also managed to see a good number of excellent shorts through their careful curation and was reminded at how much exciting talent there is out there. 'Banksy's Rude Copper' and 'A Year Of Hands' were particular standouts for me.

In a time where it's becoming increasingly difficult for independent filmmakers to be heard, community minded film festivals such as WIFF are absolutely essential for growth and confidence. I feel very blessed to have been a small part of their 2025 edition.
