B Beside The Seaside is an international B-Movie Festival for Horror, Sci-fi, Martial Arts, Action, Odd, and any over the top, Extream, Crazy films with a bit of comedy thrown in for good measure. This is NOT a festival for poignant dramas.

This festival is to celebrate B-Movies in all their glory. Judging for the best feature and best short film award will be based on pure entertainment value!

The festival will be hosted by the Southport Bijou Cinema in Merseyside, England which is easy to get to from Liverpool, Preston, Wigan, Bolton, Manchester, Blackpool etc.

We select several feature and short films to be part of our festival which will take place over 2 days.

If your film is selected you will get 2 free tickets to all the screenings.

Rules & Terms

SUBMISSION 
Submission can be made exclusively through filmfreeway.com

FORMAT 
The films accepted into the Festival are required to provide for screening a .mov or MP4 digital file.

FEES 
All fees are non-refundable

LANGUAGE 
All films must be English or have subtitles in English.

COMPLETION TIME 
All films must have been completed after January 1, 2025

COPYRIGHT 
We are not responsible for your content if you do not have permission to use it. Please make sure all content is yours, all music is original, or you have permission from the artist to use it.

PROMOTION 
B Beside The Seaside International Film Festival can use trailers/teasers/film posters for promotional purposes.

CATEGORIES 
Short films are classed as any film under 45 minutes, feature films are classed as films of 45 minutes or greater.

DISCLAIMER 
The applicant agrees to have read and accepted the rules & regulations for participation in the B Beside The Seaside International Film Festival.     Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the screening of my film "The Filthy Three" in person. Nevertheless, I think it's a great festival with an excellent overall concept: Celebrating B-Movies in all their glory! What could be better? The award categories are great, too.

    It was an honour to participate, and thank you for the opportunity to screen at your festival.
