A new contract at work prevented me, at the last minute, from attending in person, which I was most annoyed by, as I was verymuch looking forward to weekend of Horror with the B-Beside the Seaside guys.
They were amazingly friendly and supportive, keeping me 'in the loop' (even though I'm useless with facebook).
The festival itself looked like it was going to be brilliant, making me wish more that had been there, but I will be badgering the organisers for some feedback, on the festival in general, but also on how my short film went down on the night!.

  • Had a brilliant time at B Beside the Seaside, although my visit was too short to catch most of the programme. Great to see such passionate festival organisers though, and the intimacy of the venue makes it impossible not to get chatting to others at the bar. The Bijou is a wee gem of a cinema.
The award categories on offer tell you everything you need to know, there’s a lot of fun and mayhem up on screen but also some more serious & thoughtful stuff too. Never been happier to be on the B Team.

  • Thank you for screening our film Super Grannies at your festival! Unfortunately we couldn't make it, but friends and family did and they said that it was a fantastic event and they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves! We hope to join you again in the future!

  • Great film festival!
Sadly I could not attend due to Covid which was a great shame as the festival had a good selection of films really promoting independent productions.
    Good friendly communication throughout.
