WENIFF - West Nordic International Film Festival

It was an amazing pleasure to attend the West Nordic International Film Festival. From the extraordinary films and organisation, to the beauty of Ålesund, Norway, it truly was an honor to be part of this festival. I met some incredible people and managed to learn a lot more on how to make a great film. A wonderful film festival that you shouldn't miss out on!

WENIFF is a fantastic festival. The entire festival team is so welcoming and generous. The atmosphere was wonderful the whole time. The screenings take place in a very beautiful venue in the city center. Every evening, the festival invited the participants to mingle at a nearby restaurant. We are so happy that you wanted to show our film. I will carry the memories from Ålesund with me for the rest of my life.

WENIFF is a wonderful festival run by an incredible team. It was an absolute honor to attend, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality and generous accommodations. The event itself was outstanding, featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of exceptional shorts. We were thrilled to take home the Best Photography award for our short Night Games! Leaving with an award, flowers, wonderful connections, and unforgettable memories—what more could we ask for? Thank you, WENIFF!

Fantastic festival run by good, enthusiastic people. Don’t let size fool you as this “small” festival has workshops, master classes and a great selection of films in the midst of beautiful Ålesund.
