The First Annual STIFF (Santa Teresa International Film Festival) is held in the beautiful beach town of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, June 16 & 17, 2017!

The festival spotlights short and feature films from every country in a relaxed beach-side setting where filmmakers and fans can come together for film, live music, and plenty of parties that celebrate the art of filmmaking.

Besides film screenings, parties and other special events, attendees can enjoy numerous activities including surfing, hiking, horse-back riding, yoga, tours to nearby islands, or just relaxing on the beautiful beach all day, and enjoying the unforgettable sunsets in the area.

STIFF was designed as a unforgettable festival destination where filmmakers and their fans can enjoy a vacation in paradise while promoting their projects, and networking with other artists from across the globe.

RUNNING TIME
Shorts are 45 minutes and under. Features are 46 minutes and over.

LANGUAGE
Entries in any language other than English or Spanish should be subtitled in either language.

FORMATS​
Entries can only be submitted via FilmFreeway with a secure link of an online copy through vimeo or other host. No hard-copies of films will be considered. Email us with questions.
