Our "Clever Girl" team was so honored to have been part of the LAIFF festival. They were communicative, friendly, and professional. Winning best Web Series and Original Score for January was thrilling, and we were in good company with all of the other entrants. Thank you for your support of Indie filmmakers!

As a january winner with my documentary The Rinus Suitcase I got a lot of publicity in Holland (Europe) where I live. Before that I was completely unknown as a filmmaker and now I'm hot! It's not only the attention I got and still get, they really want to hire me as a filmmaker. Submitting to LAIFFA? Best decision ever!

Our film Evil Rising had the pleasure of being awarded 3 awards by LAIFF for the month of December: Best Horror Short, Best Director (Savion Smith) and Best Producers (Anthony Fagan, Paula Rossman, Savion Smith, Sally Anne Young, and Brandi Alyssa Young). To begin with, the overall festival was intriguing. We had the opportunity to walk the red carpet and be interviewed about our film, which gave us insight and excitement into promoting our film further. We had the privilege of sitting down for 2 days straight to watch award-winning movies by inspiring filmmakers and actors, some of whom we had the chance to network with. Up and coming filmmakers from all around the world attended this festival, which broadened our horizons. The festival ended with the awards ceremony, where we were each given a good 30 seconds to a minute to thank everyone and gives shout outs! Out of a dozen festivals, this was one of the few that allowed us to explore beyond just a screening. Recommended for new filmmakers!

This festival is great! Worth the entry for sure! I'd add more than 1 screening ticket for winning projects, but otherwise, it's great!
