Enjoyed the wonderful experience of seeing my sci-fi thriller screened at Long Beach and Los Angeles Comic Con 2025, and the audience's reaction watching BLUR play at these two distinct in-person events.

The cast and I that attended were quite gratified also with winning the Audience Choice Award - Best Sci-Fi at each fan convention, and how fun it was networking with other actors, and independent filmmakers, as well as sitting on the filmmaker /cast/ crew panels discussing our projects in front of comic con attendees.

GeekFest, much appreciation for making this tour happen, and THE HIGHLIGHT of my film's festival screening circuit of 2025.

  • I had such a great experience participating in the GeekFest Film Festival at Long Beach Comic Con! I had the joy of being on a filmmaker panel alongside a group of incredibly smart and talented creatives. The conversation was fantastic and the audience questions were really thoughtful.
The films in my block (the Animation/Comedy Block) were so strong, and the audience’s energy was amazing. They understood our short film in a way that other festival audiences hadn’t yet, which made the whole experience especially rewarding.
GeekFest is the perfect festival to celebrate the geekier, genre-loving side of filmmaking — fun, well-run, and full of passionate film fans. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone whose work lives in that wonderfully nerdy space!

GeekFest is an excellent traveling convention!!!! They played our film, JUST THE JANITOR, at several major comic conventions this season, and it was a thrill to see geeky audiences react to it! Bill runs a great fest, highly recommended.

Our fan film, "Indiana Jones and the Treasure of the Aztecs", was selected to be a part of GeekFest Film Fest Year 11, and we couldn't be more excited! We are looking forward to our film screening at different Comic Cons across the country this year!! What an honor!!

This was our first ComiCon, and Geekfest made it an amazing experience! Bill was very good with keeping us informed, Jackie Dallas was a very cool person to be the face of the Geekfest booth. Thank you so much! The entire team of Glory & Injustice is humbled and thrilled to have won a Best Short Film and Best of Fest! Bella Zoe even won the cosplay competition for Best in Show as Jinx from the series Arcane. Not sure how we will top this one… Have been to many incredible film festivals, but there has been nothing quite like the energy of being a part of ComiCon, and able to interact with so many different people, fans and not just filmmakers. This one is definitely worth entering.
