The Rio Theatre in Vancouver is unique in our cinema community. This festival is the perfect representation of their unique quality and commitment to alternative / independent / grindhouse programming. The good people at the Rio Grind Film Fest went well out of their way to support our short film project. We suspect the Rio Grind Fest will continue to grow into one of the very few interesting and worthwhile Vancouver festivals. Waste no time and get your project submitted for 2017! Thank you Rio crew. We owe you a tremendous debt and won't forget. Looking forward to next year!!

We were unable to attend, but the communication up to the event was impeccable. Honored to be selected alongside some truly creative entries.

Great selection of films, with a wide variety of style. Have attended in the past just as a viewer and it holds up every year, although there isn't much time for networking in the tight schedule. Would definitely submit again though.

Really great festival and theater. The shorts package was well put together and we had a lot of fun. Didn't get a chance to chat to the other filmmakers as we were a touch tight for time on the way out but there was some great stuff. Would definitely go again even if I didn't have a film in the fest.
