The Seattle Fashion Film Festival strives to foster the growth of the fashion film industry, uniting the worlds of filmmaking and fashion.

SIFFF brings this medium to the Seattle area to encourage its continued evolution with a Pacific Northwest influence.

SIFFF is connecting fashion designers, photographers, stylists and retailers with outstanding filmmakers, to create engaging cinematic experiences.

All fashion film creators are welcome to submit and everyone is welcome to attend!
Fashion and entertainment industry professionals will be in attendance. Join the other fashion films produced worldwide at the annual Seattle International Fashion Film Festival.

From our neighbors in Seattle to the fashion capitals of the world, we will come together to network, attend seminars & panels, screen films, participate in the after party and win awards. The films that make it into the final program will represent some of the most brilliant and creative directors in filmmaking today. Curated from the dynamic and the exploding world of fashion film, are a glimpse of what’s trending in the minds of the world’s top fashion houses, designers, and stylists interpreted through the lens of their filmmaking counterparts.

Awards & Prizes

Best Film will receive a trophy for their achievement and all award winners will receive an award certificate.

Awards will be selected by our jury and audience ballots will be tallied for the audience choice award.

Rules & Terms

Submissions are now open for the 2023 Seattle International Fashion Film Festival.

Seattle International Fashion Film Festival will be held October 2023.

Please keep the following in mind for your film(s):

Film(s) must have a fashion: theme, major element(s), or sponsorship.
Films between 1 and 15 minutes are eligible for short film length.
Films between 15 and longer are feature fashion film length.
Films must be uploaded online on sites like YouTube or Vimeo to be acceptable for submission. Once selected for the festival screening, filmmakers may send films on DVDs, external drives or through Dropbox.
Must own or have rights to copyright of material submitted.
Have access to releases for the talent and music used.
Provide a short bio of the person submitting.
Briefly explain of the film’s backstory: why, when, how, who, where.

Physical storage devices will not be sent back.

If accepted, submission imagery, including film and clips, you agree will be available for use in the Festival’s promotional activities.

You agree that if your film is accepted it will be available for further distribution through our networks and events, unless by prior written arrangement.

Submissions will be considered for the Seattle International Fashion Film Festival, associated, supported, and/or branded film festivals and events around the world. Unless by prior written arrangement.

The Process
All submitted films will be reviewed by the committee.
A film becomes an “Official Selection" once it is selected for viewing during the festival and/or it's nominated for festival awards.
The filmmakers will be notified only if they have been selected for screening as a Semi-Finalist, Finalist or an Award Nominee.

    Fabulous festival experience from initial selection to screening outstanding films. This is filmmaker-friendly festival that we were honored to be included within. The directors and staff are friendly, supportive and attentive. The networking was alive and well. Highly recommended!

    Amazing experience for my first time really was an honor to be nominated and to have my model get nominated for Best actress / model and with no script ! Pretty amazing for us . Was crew of 3 people and low budget . My DO and lighting assistant we all wore many hats for this impromptu film 🎥 This film was definitely the underdog of Fashion Films . Perhaps add a catagory for most well down film for limited crew and best Concept with no budget !!
