A complete waste of people's money. I don't know how they actually call this a festival as your Fim does not even screen in a festival with any viewers but more a panel of judges who accept your film then shoot you an email saying oh didn't win, and give you a discount for the Nextel festival. In short, this could be anything bad you don't even know if you're missing actually being watched or not. What are you paying for? Nothing in the end as no film screens for the public, you get no exposure from professionals or viewers and don't network with anyone. Avoid at all costs.

Good to have retribution for our work. People from this competion are kind and had good communication. For me, it needs something else than a laurel for the winners. Maybe a throphy or a certificate

Communication was nonexistent. Did not reply to emails or phone calls until after multiple multiple attempts. Once you did get any kind of info from them, the info was never accurate. Deadlines were consistently not met. One positive was that you did get feedback from each of the judges on your film. Although the feedback was about as helpful as reading the table of contents from "Filmmaking for Dummies". If you want to be accepted to a film festival just to be constantly left in the dark about what is actually going on, by all means submit to this festival.

Excellent festival. A good experience all around. Just know that this is not a screening event.
