The London Rolling Film Festival is a not-for-profit, female-led independent festival built around one core idea: giving each filmmaker meaningful visibility.

We present a curated selection of films at Vue Piccadilly, in the heart of London’s industry scene, bringing together industry professionals and a genuinely engaged audience.

What sets us apart is our focus beyond the screening. We actively support directors, helping both the film and the filmmaker reach further. Through strategic partnerships and ongoing relationships within the industry, we create additional visibility and connection opportunities for our selected filmmakers beyond the festival.

If you’re looking for a festival where your work is not lost in volume, but truly seen, experienced, and remembered, we invite you to submit.

Over the years, the festival has welcomed Emmy and BAFTA-winning guests, alongside producers, distributors, and industry professionals, including representatives from Lionsgate and leading independent companies.

Previous editions have included:
• Red carpet coverage on Getty Images Editorial
• International media coverage including BBC, SBS, RAI
• Industry press features including British Cinematographer, The Fan Carpet, Live London Post

The festival also hosts panels and conversations at the Royal Society of Arts, creating direct connections between filmmakers and the industry.

This is not a volume festival.

We focus on a strong programme and a real experience. Filmmakers attend. Films are properly presented. Conversations happen in person.

The London Rolling Film Festival welcomes people of all backgrounds and abilities and is committed to making its events accessible.

This festival, after having been to so many, was AMAZING! ALIDA is the founder and producer and she is brilliant. She truly cares about the artist and finding great movies but she runs a great film festival with outstanding volunteers! I love the filmmakers I met and it was all so much fun!

What a wonderful festival that gives the chance to showcase smallest projects. We had a little taster for a new series on the Spanish Armada. Through this wonderful festival we made even more connections. Thankyou Alida and your team for all the support to moving this little project further.
