Located just outside of Los Angeles, the IndieVision Film Festival is a newly formed festival event focusing on showcasing compelling narrative short films. From comedy to horror, drama to sci-fi, and everything in between, IndieVision accepts submissions of all genres, and looks for creative storytelling above anything else.

The IndieVision Film Festival takes place in August, in the oceanside city of Ventura CA (approximately an hour northwest of Hollywood), where films will screen at the 300+ seat Regency Ventura Theater. The festival features working industry judges and advisors, including current film executives.

Certificates will be awarded in the following categories:

Best Film

Best Actor

Best Actress

Short films with total run time of under 30 minutes are eligible.

Works-in-progress will be considered, provided they will be completed prior to August 2015. All non-English films must have English sub-titles.

All submitted films must be original work of the entrant/s. Submitters warrant that they have the legal right to submit the film to the IndieVision Film Festival.

By submitting, you are granting the IndieVision Film Festival non-exclusive permission to exhibit your film during the festival, if selected.

If selected, IndieVision Film Festival can accept exhibition copies in the form of Blu-Ray, DCP, or DVD.
