Formerly known as the Off Kilter Film Festival, the Bastrop Texas Film & Music Festival has expanded to include 4 days of live music, feature & short films, red carpet events, filmmaker Q&A sessions, workshops, a catered awards ceremony and more! Films will be screened at Schulman Theatres Lost Pines 8, followed by live music performances every night at local venues in Bastrop. Located just 25 minutes from Austin, 90 minutes from San Antonio, 2 hours from Houston and 3 hours from Dallas, Bastrop is a prime location to draw filmmakers, musicians, and fans from all of the major cities in Texas!

We welcome film and music submissions of all genres and look forward to seeing you at this year's Bastrop Texas Film & Music Festival!

Awards & Prizes

Three cash prizes will be given for the Audience Choice Award, Best Texas Filmmaker, and a Grand Jury Prize selected by BTFMF judges. Laurels and awards will also be given for winners in each submission category.

Rules & Terms

FILMS:
**DIGITAL FILM SUBMISSIONS VIA FilmFreeway ARE HIGHLY PREFERRED. Short films must be 20 minutes or less. All foreign language entries must have English subtitles. Submissions must be made by the writer, producer or director of the film. The submitter must have legal rights to make the submission. Entry fees are non-refundable. Screening materials sent to BTFMF will not be returned. We warmly welcome international submissions from all over the world.

MUSIC:
**You must set up an account with FilmFreeway as a Filmmaker to submit your video. Please submit a digital video recording of your live performance(s) via FilmFreeway under the BANDS & MUSICAL ACTS category.
