Festigious is a monthly film and screenplay competition dedicated to celebrating outstanding independent filmmaking from around the world. Each month, our jury selects the winners through private screenings and evaluations.

In addition to the monthly competition, Festigious hosts an annual competition recognizing the year's most outstanding projects across a wide range of categories, including Narrative Film, Documentary, Screenplay, and more. The annual jury also selects the prestigious Best of Fest winner from a small group of exceptional nominees.

Our mission is twofold: to support and promote independent filmmakers worldwide, and to champion greater gender equality across the film industry.

Rules & Terms

What we’re looking for? Story-based films, which can be in the form of narrative (fiction), documentary (non fiction), or animation.
The films must include English subtitles (unless the spoken language is English).

By submitting your film, take note that:
- You agree to use parts of your film (including trailer/teaser/film poster) for promotional purpose.
- Entry fees are non-refundable.
- You must own all the rights to the film.

Festigious does not accept the following:
1. Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations
2. Political films
3. Films which are made before 2010
4. Films with a poor production standard (bad sound, lack of subtitles/captions for non-English films, video resolution less than 720p HD)
5. Films that depict or include any cruelty to animals.
