After a spectacular inaugural festival in 2024, we began preparing the stage for creative minds to express themselves. From thought-provoking documentaries to engaging features, shorts, and music videos spanning genres, ethnicities, and subjects, offering a rich tapestry of human experiences. fliXfest is dedicated to showcasing films from around the world while highlighting filmmakers from New Jersey. Whether you're a film enthusiast or simply looking for a captivating experience, fliXfest promises to entertain, educate, and inspire.Join us as we come together to celebrate the art of filmmaking and the power of storytelling through this extraordinary cinematic event.

Donations: Partial proceeds from the event will be donated to various charities.

Rules & Terms

ENTRIES: Domestic and International productions eligible.

FEES: No submission fees will be waived. Absolutely no refunds.

PREMIERES Film premieres will be given 1st priority.

LANGUAGE: All films in foreign languages must have English subtitles.

FORMAT: All final films must be delivered in DCP (Digital Cinema Package) format. $100 fee for fliXfest to convert.

REPRODUCTION: Filmmaker gives fliXfest permission to use accepted film in part or whole, for exhibition and broadcast purposes in all media.

NAME and LIKENESS: Filmmaker gives fliXfest permission to use Filmmaker's name and likeness in all media.

LIABILITY: Filmmaker shall indemnify and hold fliXfest harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees and costs of the court) which may be incurred because of any claim in connection with the Film involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and/or loss of or damage to the screening videos submitted. In particular, the Filmmaker expressly warrants that it has obtained all necessary copyright clearances for original works of authorship used in the Film.

    My submission went from being 'Selected' to winning for 'Best Music Video'!!! Much thanks to the judges and coordinators of the fliXfest Film Festival for going out of their way to present the most informative, cohesive, and entertaining festival they could. They're unique in that they have a portion of the festival called muXicFest dedicated to music videos that was an A++ experience. It was an honor to have been a part of this festival from the 'Submission' Day to the 'Festival' Night!!
