Erin Sian Thomas is a UK film producer and First Class Film Production graduate (University of Portsmouth, 2025). She has produced a wide range of short films throughout her studies, establishing a reputation for meticulous organisation, thoughtful leadership, and a compassionate approach to storytelling. Erin is drawn to human-centred, emotionally grounded narratives that explore often overlooked or sensitive experiences.
Her graduate film Matrescence, which delves into postpartum depression, has received multiple awards, including Raindance, and was praised for its authenticity, emotional depth, and socially conscious perspective. Throughout her productions, Erin has overseen budgets, scheduling, casting, contracts, location negotiations, social media, crowdfunding, and on-set dynamics, always prioritising safe and professional environments for cast and crew.
Outside of film, Erin is a passionate advocate for animal welfare. She has rescued and cared for rabbits, raised funds for animal rescues, and led the Fiona’s Tea Room campaign, which raised awareness about animal abuse. Her dedication to advocacy mirrors her approach to filmmaking: combining leadership, empathy, and drive to make a tangible impact.
Committed to creating work that resonates, Erin continues to pursue projects that are both meaningful and emotionally honest, blending technical precision with a heartfelt commitment to storytelling and social responsibility.
