Alvin Agha (b. 1987, Azerbaijan) is an Azerbaijani-born filmmaker and visual artist based in Tampa, Florida (USA). He began photographing portraits on film at age 8–9, studied digital photography from 2010, and started working professionally in 2011. After graduating from the State Art Academy of Azerbaijan in 2013, he directed his first video project, which received international recognition, and has been active ever since across social and commercial productions.
Alvin develops projects across narrative and experimental cinema, including short films, feature projects, and music videos, submitting each work to festivals aligned with its format and intent. His core focus is the human subject—psychology, action under pressure, and identity—capturing how inner states translate into behavior and choice. Drawing from cross-cultural observation and contemporary visual craft, his work aims for emotionally direct stories with a clear visual language.
