Born on March 9th, 1964, in Yerevan, Armenia.
Graduated from Armenian Agriculture Academy in 1985. After military service worked in state companies “Armgosestrada” and “Armconcert” as mass event director.
Since 1988 is working as assistant director at “Armenfilm” film studio.
In 1990 screened a debut movie “Games”.
Director at armenian-american film studio «Armenia film studio» up to 2009.
Creative director at international advertising agency «Publicis Hepta» since 2010.
Winner of numerous international festivals.

1990 «Games» short film. Prize for the best debut. Participant at more than 20 international festivals. (Clermont - Ferrand, Magdeburg, Riga, Toulouse, Valladolid, etc)
1997 «The Black Wall» full-length fiction film. Grand Prix at international festival Private Look, SPECIAL PRIZE JURY Varna, Bulgaria , etc.
2001 «THE LAND OF HOLY RITES» full-length documentary film. FIPRESSI Golden Apricot international film festival, the winner – best movie, best director, best operator, Grand Prix.
2006 «Mariam» full-length fiction film. International festival «New film of 21 century», Russia. Prize - «Best scenario».
2010 «FROM ARARAT TO ZION» documentary. “Best European movie” Swansea Bay Film Festival Great Britain, «Best international documental movie» international film festival «HEART OF ENGLAND», London/ , «Best documentary film » ARCA international film festival Los Angeles, etc. The film was shown in the United States on PBS 2 TV channel, as well as in Latin America, Europe, Japan, and Australia.
