Dorothy Xiao is a Los Angeles/Orange County based award-winning narrative film director and writer with a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA. A Chinese American daughter of immigrants, Dorothy brings an empathetic and thoughtful perspective to her work and aims to make people feel less alone in the world. Her short DIVE BAR is currently playing on board Alaska Airlines, and her most recent shorts AS BITTER AS SWEET and TAROT are playing in festivals. She recently directed the short film COLORFUL MINDS for the 2022 CBS Leadership Pipeline Challenge, which won third place in the competition.
