The Dolomitale film festival is the first feature length film festival located in the Rhaeto-Romanic language area and in the Dolomites.

The film festival aims to support filmmakers network within the Alpine region film scene and the trans- as well as international film business. Therefore, audience talks, producer and filmmaker meetings, screenings for students, masterclasses and film competitions are prearranged.

All submitted films should be no older than 24 months old by June 2019.

Favoured Films:
* Films made by filmmakers who were born or are living in the Alpine region of Europe
* Films which were shot in the Alpine region, including the eight Alpine countries: Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Slovenia, and Switzerland
* Films which deal with social or political questions and emboss the local discourse of South Tyrol, such as linguistic minority, ethnical minority, microstates, political divisions
* Films about sports, nature or mountains

The Dolomitale Filmfestival regards a short film as 50 minutes or under and a feature film as anything over 50 minutes.

Films that are available to purchase are not eligible. This includes DVD/Blu-ray/VHS formats.

Promotional films are not eligible (e.g. films promoting tourism, charitable appeals, etc.).
