Directed by Her is an annual film festival organised by the GALPAL Collective. With its first year tickets selling out for our screening at the Irish Film Institute. Beginning its sophomore year now with the support of Screen Ireland, Directed by Her promises to be a fulfilling celebration for the women, non-binary and/or FLINTA* film communities of Ireland.

The GALPAL Collective is a dynamic community-driven organisation committed to empowering and uplifting underrepresented voices in the arts and entertainment industry. Through their various initiatives, including the GALPAL Collective Writers Club, Coffee Conversations and more, they aim to foster inclusivity, cultivate community, provide support, and create opportunities for emerging talents in the creative realm.

Directed by Her is three days across various Dublin venues jam packed with screenings, workshops, talks and a unique audio-visual experience to end it all with the Directed by Her Slumber Party at the Racket Space.

Directed by Her is supported by Screen Ireland under the Audience Development Fund.

Directed by Her workshops are dually supported by Screen Ireland and Local Enterprise Office South Dublin.
