An acclaimed Greek film director, member of the European Film Academy. His last film "Invisible" (2016) had 15 Awards, showing at more than 40 festivals. His debut film "Addio Berlin" (1994) gained Jury’s Prize and Critics Mention at Thessaloniki IFF for it’s innovating style, while his second feature "No Sympathy for the Devil" (1997) was nominated for Golden Alexander and gained the Best Actress Award in TIFF. "2000+1 Shots" (2001) was selected by B. Mousoulis among the 10 best films for 2001 in Senses of Cinema. "Three Days Happiness" (2012) won 4 Awards, showing at more than 20 festivals. Other film of his "Athens Summer Night Dream" (1999), "Madonna calls Fassbinder" (short 2008), "Planet Athens" (2005). Born in Athens, he studied cinema and architecture.
