General rules and regulations that participants must agree to for the Delhi Documentary Film Festival:

1. Eligibility: All participants must ensure that they hold the necessary rights to the content of their documentary films and have obtained any required permissions, licenses, or releases for materials used.

2. Submission Format: Films must be submitted in the specified format as outlined in the submission guidelines. This may include online screeners, physical copies, or other accepted formats.

3. Submission Deadline: Participants must adhere to the submission deadline specified by the festival. Late submissions may not be accepted.

4. Originality: Documentary films submitted should be original works, and participants must not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights of others.

5. Content Guidelines: Films should adhere to legal and ethical standards. Content that promotes hate speech, violence, discrimination, or any form of illegal activity will not be accepted.

6. Language and Subtitles: Non-English films must be submitted with English subtitles or have an English-language version available.

7. Selection Process: The festival's selection committee will review all submitted films and make final decisions on the films to be included in the festival. The committee's decisions are final and binding.

8.
