Daniel Queiroz Burity is an award winning Brazilian Filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY.
Daniel worked in productions of acclaimed filmmakers such as Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese. His films won awards, were shown in festivals across the globe and featured in publications such as Time Out NY and Huffington Post.
Daniel’s career started at age 21, directing and editing for Public Television in his hometown of Salvador, Bahia. Daniel’s latest film,"¡Hola Kitty!" won awards at the Katra Film Series, the Broadway International Film Festival, The Chicano International Film Festival and was selected to the Cannes Short Corner. His documentary about independent musicians from New York, "Apple Sounds", earned praises from acclaimed French director, Michel Gondry, and won the 2013 Press Awards.
Daniel filmed artists such as Yoko Ono, Madonna, Blondie and worked as camera operator for the NY Summer Stage.
Currently Daniel it's in post production of his new film, "Hell of a Pitcher".
