The following year, Joey invited Dani and her aunt Sandy Vielma to travel with his crew to his summer camps in Jacksonville FL, Edgewood Cliffs NJ, Detroit MI, San Diego CA, and Moraga CA; Bowman continues to teach at Joey’s summer camps. In 2012, Dani branched out on her own and expanded her teaching to a new PowerLight Studios summer camp at OCALI (Columbus, OH). Bowman’s camps continue to grow. In 2014, she added four additional camps, two new camps in Ohio hosted by Step by Step in Columbus & Finley; a new camp in Tampa, FL hosted by VSA Florida and Card-Usf; and Acting Antics in Malvern, PA. Acting Antics was a special camp for Bowman as it was lead by Ryan Comins, an individual with autism that she’s mentored for the past several years, and fulfils one of her goals to employ others with autism.
