CUT TO: GENT is a Belgian short film festival in the heart of Ghent that exhibits, discusses and awards the work of new directors.
Founded in 2018 by filmmakers, the festival combines a limited selection of Belgian and international short films, without making any distinction in technique, genre or budget. The films are appraised by a professional jury and the audience as part of a competition.
The fifth edition of CUT TO: GENT will take place from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th of September 2022 at Sphinx Cinema, Ghent.

By participating, permission is granted to exhibit the short ﬁlm during the 2022 edition of CUT TO: GENT. For all the screenings, no compensation for author’s or other rights can be claimed. When exhibited, the name of the director will always be mentioned.
Every participant guarantees that they fully is the rightful claimant of the participating works and that it concerns an original work and not a reproduction or a copy of an existing work. CUT TO: GENT cannot accept any responsibility for possible infringements of the copyright of third parties and it cannot be held responsible in case of copyright abuse.
