CRAFT International Animation Festival

I. INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF STOP-MOTION & TRADITIONAL TECHNIQUES IN ANIMATION (NO DIGITAL 3D/2D, OR WITH USING ONLY PARTLY) – OPEN TO THE WHOLE WORLD:
TRADITIONAL/CLASSICAL & STOP-MOTION ANIMATION is understood by Organizers as animation created with traditional methods, where the computer was used only during the post-production stage or CGI was used to a minimal extent, or not at all.
>INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF TRADITIONAL/CLASSICAL & STOP-MOTION ANIMATION is open for professionals, students and independent artists from all over the world.
>To the INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION, we accept animated movies, not longer than 30 minutes (with closing credits) and realized after January 1st, 2024.

II. ONLY FOR THE ANIMATED MOVIES FROM SOUTHEAST ASIAN COUNTRIES - COMPETITION OF ALL TECHNIQUES IN ANIMATION (INCLUDING DIGITAL 3D/2D):
>SOUTH-EAST ASIA COMPETITION is open for ALL TECHNIQUES – digital, non-digital, stop-motion and mixed.
>SOUTH-EAST ASIA COMPETITION is open for professionals, students and independent artists from Southeast Asian countries.
>SOUTH-EAST ASIA comprising ONLY Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, as well as Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Christmas Island and Cocos (Keeling) Islands.
>To the SOUTH-EAST ASIA COMPETITION, we accept animated movies, not longer than 30 minutes (with closing credits) and realized after January 1st, 2024.

III. NO DIALOGUE SHORTS ANIMATED MOVIES FOR KIDS - STOP-MOTION & TRADITIONAL TECHNIQUES IN ANIMATION(NO DIGITAL 3D/2D, OR USING ONLY PARTLY) – OPEN TO THE WHOLE WORLD:
>To the SHORTS FOR KIDS COMPETITION, we accept animated movies for children, WITH NO DIALOGUE, not longer than 30 minutes (with closing credits), and made after January 1st, 2024.

IV. DIGITAL PANORAMA - A NON-COMPETITIVE PROGRAM WITH AN AUDIENCE VOTING OPEN TO THE WHOLE WORLD (WE DON'T PAY FEES FOR THE SCREENING) - ONLY DIGITAL 2D/3D. DIGITAL PANORAMA is open to professionals, students, and independent artists from all over the world. To the DIGITAL PANORAMA, we accept animated movies, not longer than 30 minutes (with closing credits) and made after January 1st, 2024.

V. PANORAMA ANIMASI INDONESIA - A NON-COMPETITIVE PROGRAM OPEN TO DOMESTIC, INDONESIAN PRODUCTIONS, open for ALL TECHNIQUES – digital, non-digital, stop-motion, and mixed (WE DON'T PAY FEES FOR THE SCREENING). Panorama Animasi Indonesia is open to professionals, students, and independent artists from Indonesia. To the Panorama Animasi Indonesia, we accept animated movies, not longer than 30 minutes (with closing credits) and made after January 1st, 2024.

THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE LEGAL TITLE TO SUBMIT A FILM TO THE FESTIVAL REMAINS THE PARTY OF THE PERSON SUBMITTING THE FILM.

The Organizer and co-organizers are not liable for any legal liability resulting from the infringement of personal or property copyrights of third parties by the Applicant.

The Organizer reserves the right to transfer the film to a different competition/program than the one indicated by the applicant if it deems it appropriate/necessary/better for the film.
