“Connect” ist ein Tageskurzfilmfestival und Netzwerkevent, dass darauf ausgelegt ist, Gleichgesinnte zu finden, mit denen ihr neue Projekte erschaffen könnt.

Wir wollen alle Crew und Castmitglieder der nominierten Kurzfilme auf unseren Flyern und social media Kanälen eine interaktive Plattform bieten.
Nach einem Abend abwechslungsreicher Kurzfilme mit anschließenden Q&A's, sind alle dazu eingeladen, sich im Kinorama über ihre Arbeiten und Ideen auszutauschen und für neue Projekte zu connecten.

Das Festival ist eine Kooperation mit der Ruhrakademie Schwerte und der SAE in Bochum.

(Connect is a daytime short film festival and networking event designed to find like-minded people to create new projects with.

We want to offer all crew and cast members of the nominated short films an interactive platform on our flyers and social media channels.
After an evening of varied short films followed by Q&As, everyone is invited to exchange their work and ideas in the Kinorama and to connect for new projects.

The festival is a cooperation with the Ruhr Academy in Schwerte and the SAE in Bochum.)

Rules & Terms

Wir suchen Filme, die maximal 30 min lang und höchstens eineinhalb Jahre alt sind. Wir möchten die Arbeit junger Regisseure unter 35 Jahren fördern, die hier in NRW leben.

(We are looking for films that are max. 30 minutes long and no more than a year and a half old. We would like to support the work of young directors under the age of 35 who live here in North Rhine-Westphalia)
